Overview

The mem-re Dashboard is the management tool for creating and managing interactive mem-re experiences. It's used to design physical items, configure digital experiences, and track engagement analytics.

Key Concepts

Experiences

An Experience is the core unit of the platform. Each experience combines a physical item design with digital content that users interact with after scanning the item. Experiences can be in Draft or Live status.

See Managing Experiences for details.

Action Tiles

Action Tiles are the interactive elements within an experience. When a user scans an item, they see a set of Action Tiles they can tap to interact with. There are four Action Tile types:

  • URL — Link to an external website
  • Video — Embedded video content
  • Page — Custom rich content page
  • Camera (AR) — Launch an augmented reality experience

See Action Tiles for details.

Items

Items are the physical items tied to each experience. You design the front and back artwork using the item designer, choose a material, and order them in bulk for distribution.

See Card Designer and Ordering Cards for details.

Templates

Templates are reusable Action Tile configurations. Save a Action Tile setup as a template once, then apply it across multiple experiences to keep your workflow consistent and fast.

See Action Tile Templates for details.

Typical Workflow

  1. Create an experience — Start from scratch or use an existing template.
  2. Design the item — Upload front and back artwork and choose the item material.
  3. Add Action Tiles — Configure the interactive elements users will see when they scan the item.
  4. Set up AR content (optional) — Upload AR videos that play when users point their camera at the item.
  5. Customize the layout — Set a hero image, choose theme colors, and adjust the visual appearance.
  6. Order physical items — Submit an item order request with quantity, shipping details, and delivery date.
  7. Go live and track analytics — Publish the experience and monitor activations, Action Tile clicks, and other metrics from the dashboard.
